Expanding with 3 state-of-the art large offshore construction vessels



CECON NEWBUILDINGS

3 large offshore construction vessels are under construction at Davie Yards Inc. Quebec, Canada.
Revised delivery dates will be advised as soon as the situation around the current CCAA process at Davie Yards Inc., has been clarified.

The vessels will be utilized for Cecon projects involving laying of rigid steel pipelines, flexible pipelines and risers,  as well as cables, umbilicals and other associated subsea installations.

The vessels are of Vik-Sandvik design VS4220.

Visit of Oil- and Energy Minister to Cecon.



The Oil- and Energy Minister, together with a delegation from the Ministry visited Cecon and was briefed on current activities.
The visit was in connection with a series of visits to the industry in preparation of a paper on future oil- and gas activities.
